Rob found out about a junior high lacrosse team that was in need of help. The team consisted of boys from 3 different high schools in the Nebo district, Spanish Fork, Mapleton, and Springville. Rob helped coach the team and they turned out to be a really good team. They did lose a couple during the regular season, including a heart breaker in overtime, but there were some great wins, 8-1, 11-0, 6-0, 11-0, 11-1. They did so well in the regular season that we jumped up into the upper league for the playoffs. The team made a few tweaks to their game plan and ended up beating the team they lost to in overtime, 5-3. It was an incredible game and the boys worked hard and deserved the hard fought win. One cool thing was that that opposing team's head coach was the BYU lacrosse team's head coach. Revenge was sweet! The boys did end up losing the next game but it was a great season. Rob plans to help out for the next season.
