This is how the trip this weekend began. We were about 5 minutes away from the cabin that we rented in Island Park, Idaho when my parents with a truck, trailer, and snowmobiles slid off the road. I didn't get very good pictures because I was in my car taking them out the windshield while holding a wiggly Ellie. Luckily, nobody was hurt and there was only minimal damage to the truck and trailer. The snowmobiles went flying but they were not damaged at all. It is experiences like this that remind me that our Heavenly Father is always looking over us because this accident could have been much worse then it was. When they slid into the other lane a car coming at them miraculously missed them and Rob and I who were driving right behind. Within about 2 minutes of the crash about 10 people who we didn't know had stopped to help. I was so impressed with everyone and how helpful they were.

 Once we got over the accident we had a great time exploring the trails and enjoying the scenery.

Look at those cool trees and the amazing mountains in the distance. the locals told us we were pretty lucky to get a sunny day because they had not had sun for weeks.

 We played the Just Dance game on the Wii while we were there. Ellie loved to dance! She was so cute dancing while Rob was dancing.

 She has some good moves!
 She would look out the windows and say "no" (translation: snow) over and over. I think she was just so amazed that there was so much snow outside.
 This is a waterfall that we rode to on the second day. As you can see the snow is as tall as the railings! We had to slide down the stairs like a slide to get down there (don't worry we were safe!).
We were so happy to get away from home for a while and we had a great trip.
