We took a little trip to St. George and it was really great. We had lots of sunshine, fun, and relaxation. Friday we went to visit Zion National Park (one of my favorite places in the world!). Ellie liked riding on papa's shoulders, riding the bus, throwing rocks in the river, and seeing all of the animals.

| She doesn't like to smile for pictures these days. |

| We saw little baby fish, some really tame squirrels, a wild turkey, lizards, and a deer. |
 |
| The most interesting thing about our zion visit was these giant nests of caterpillars. The trees were covered with these huge nests and at first we thought that they were spiders but the ranger informed us that they were caterpillars. The baby caterpillars were literally falling from the sky. It was better than spiders but it was kind of gross. Ellie thought they were pretty neat though. |

| We stayed at a house in St. George (thanks cousin Dave!) and it had a really fun swimming pool. It was great because it was in the 90's most of the time that we were there. The boys liked the rock climbing wall and the slide. |
 |
| There was even a little kiddie pool that was perfect for Ellie. She could touch the bottom and had so much fun in there. She spent most of the trip in that little pool. |
