Three full days of sun, water, and fun is what we had at Lake Powell last Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. This was the first and possibly only Lake Powell trip of the year and so we tried to make the best of it. We had all of the skiing, tubing, knee boarding, and cliff jumping that we could handle. It was fun with my parents, my sister, my sister's friend from Morgan, and Saturday my aunt Nancy and her 4 kids came over from Beaver. The only down point of the whole trip was that we had a tire on the boat trailer blow out on our way home Friday afternoon -- and it was 109 degrees! Luckily we had a spare and it only took Rob and my dad half an hour to fix it. I absolutely LOVE this beautiful place and feel so blessed that I am able to go and have a great time with my husband and my family. Rob did a great job helping out with all of the work it takes to go to the lake and is getting to be a pro at the slalom ski. At the end of the three days we were a little sunburned and totally exhausted but it is worth it! Enjoy this video of Rob skiing -- he is showing off for the camera.

Looks like fun. Just be careful with the tricks, nobody likes a fall with the legs spread apart! I was bracing for a crash that would have made me cry just watching it. Next time I want to see some big air or a flip:) Marc
Way to go Gayle and Sarah on the double knee boards! How fun! It has been too long since I have been to Powell. Oh the memories.
