Swap Meet

We went to the Swap Meet today. The Swap Meet is a big market that is set up around Aloha Stadium. There's a bunch of tents that have a bunch of vendors selling all kinds of stuff to tourists. It was pretty fun and we got a few souvenirs to bring home. Sarah got a variety of bracelets and necklaces. She also got some cool flower bookmarks, because she loves to read. Rob got a sea turtle magnet and a wooden sea turtle picture. Rob had to bring something home to commemorate his sea turtle sighting. If you know Rob, then you know he loves turtles and according to Nile, he is the "Turtle Master".

After going to the market, we went to Hanauma Bay to go snorkeling again. That beach was pretty nice and the snorkeling was good but Rob was disappointed we had to pay to get in. We think that Shark's Cove is by far better... And free! After seeing the fishes, we took a long drive up the east coast of the island. The east coast is so green. That side of the island gets most of the rainfall. We passed by the place where they filmed Jurassic Park and then went to Chinaman's Hat. There were tons of little crabs on that beach and Rob temporarily caught a tiny one. They were really quick little buggers. We ended a great day with dinner at a nice seafood resturaunt in Haleiwa.
